Zach Petersen:

Growing up in Northern California, I have enjoyed exploring its endless outdoor opportunities. At a young age, I started riding mountain bikes around my hometown. I  began racing Enduro after High School, and have been hooked ever since. For me, racing is an important part of mountain biking because it defines how fast, or slow, you really ride. It shows you your strengths and weaknesses and how you can become a better rider. Through racing, I meet cool people in the mountain bike community and encounter new trails. I encourage everyone to race! Though, the best days for me are when I’m not racing against the clock. After all, we ride for fun.

Currently, I am studying Sustainable Manufacturing at Chico State University. While in school, I work as a mechanic at a local shop. I have over 4 years of experience working as a bike shop mechanic in Sacramento, Chico, and Tahoe.

Finally, through this site, I hope to share my passion and experience  with the world. I hope to get more people exploring new trails!

Dane Petersen:

Like my younger brother, I have been fascinated with bikes for many years now. When I was younger, I spent a lot of time building jumps in the hills of my hometown with friends. It wasn’t until my second year in college that I got seriously hooked on mountain biking. The unforgiving trails in my college town—Chico—proved to be a great place to cut my teeth. Over the past several years, racing has become a big part of my life. Though my favorite part of mountain biking will always be riding epic trails with good friends.

My bike has taken me to some amazing places and my goal with this site is to expose new riders to great trails through video and photography!
